Maximum Traffic Is To This City From Bhubaneswar Airport; Find Out

Bhubaneswar, July 13: The Biju Patnaik International Airport has seen a significant growth in passenger traffic in recent months, almost touching the pre-pandemic level because of the avaialbility of flights to diverse destinations inside the country and abroad, and with more choices.

Though Air India has withdrawn operaitons from the city against the backdrop of consolidation of services of airlines run by the Tata Group, private carrier such as Akasa Air has leveraged the growing passenger traffic to its advantage by lauching its services from the city.

The cith airport is registering close to 14,000 passenger movements on an average daily, making it among the 15 busiest airports in the country.

May remained as one of the busiest months for the aviation sector because of the summer rush, and Delhi continued to remain the most busiest route from Bhubaneswar, followed by Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.
