Govt Releases Agenda Of Upcoming Parliament Special Session; Details Here
New Delhi, Sept 13: Ending intense speculation about the tentative agenda of the week-long special session of Parliament beginning September 18 to 22, the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Wednesday evening released the list of business scheduled for the sitting days of both Houses.
The Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2023.
The Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, 2023.
These two were passed in the Rajya Sabha on August 3.
Rajya Sabha:
The Post Office Bill, 2023
The Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Bill, 2023.
These two bills were introduced in the Rajya Sabha on August 10.
Besides, discussions will be held on ‘Parliamentary journey of 75 years starting from Samvidhan Sabha – Achievements, experience, memories and learnings’.
Ahead of the special session, the government has called an all-party meeting on September 17.
