Two Eviction & Demolition Programmes by BDA in Pokhariput Area to Remove Encroachment

Bhubaneswar, September 13: Under the aegis of the scheduled Central Enforcement Management Committee (CEMC) programme the enforcement team consisting of officers and staff of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) carried out demolition and eviction process under Airport Police Station limits.

While under the Programme:1 Eviction of Plot (Open space) in Ananta Vihar Phese-III, Phokhariput was done as per the requisition made by Land Officer BDA and grievance petition filed by Secretary of Ananta vihar welfare Society Phokhariput, under Programme:-2 eviction of unauthorised encroachment in front of of Indira Gandhi Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Pokhariput was done as per the rRequisition made by ZDC (South-West), BMC.

During both the eviction programmes one RCC building (pump house), one temple, one dhaba, one OMFED booth, three ACC shed houses, two bomboo polythene sheds, four  water tanks and near about 250 feet stone-made boundary wall were demolished/removed successfully.
