Kharif Paddy Procurement: Farmer Registration Extended Till August 22

Bhubaneswar, August 16: The Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department has extended the timeline for Farmer Registration for ensuing Kharif procurement till August 22. 

In a letter to the Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, Odisha and all District Magistrates and Collectors, the Department has written that the last date for submitting the application for Farmer Registration for Procurement of Paddy (Kharif Crop) is extended till the above date.

Similarly, the last date of digitization of forms by societies is also extended till August 28. However, generation of Master Farmer List for procurement of paddy should be ready by not later than August 30, the letter added.

The Department, through the communication, therefore requested the PACS/LAMPS/WSHGs/PPs to circulate the information for the farmers through the field functionaries.
