Ekalavya Students Bring Laurels to Odisha at National Level Cultural & Literature Fest in Dehradun
Bhubaneswar, October 9: Odia students brought glory at the national level. The students studying in Ekalavya School have brought glory to Odisha by participating in the 4th National cultural & literary fest and kala Utsav 2023. More than 2,000 students from 22 states across the country participated in the event which was held between October 3rd and 6th at Dehradun in Uttarakhand. 56 students of Odisha have participated in 31 competitions and 21 have won.
The students were felicitated on the premises of the Odisha Model Tribal Education Society (OMTES). Commissioner of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development Rupa Roshan Sahoo attended the function as the chief guest and felicitated the successful students. On this occasion, she said, in the coming days, the department will provide all kinds of support to the students to participate in more and more competitions at the national and international level.
Indramani Tripathi, Director of Scheduled Tribes Department and Secretary of Odisha Model Adivasi Education Society, was present in the meeting and congratulated the students. Additional Secretary Narayan Dhal, Pranati Patra and other members of Odisha Model Tribal Education Society were present and encouraged the
students.
