State Govt Enhances Monthly Stipend of House Surgeons, Says Notification from Health Dept

Bhubaneswar, August 29: The State Government has enhanced the monthly stipend of the House Surgeons. The House Surgeons have been demanding for the enhancement since long. 

In a official letter Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha has said ``on careful consideration of the Grievances of the House Surgeons for an increase in their stipend, the State Government has been pleased for implementation of a Dynamic stipend in favour of House Surgeons @ 50 % of the current remuneration paid to Assistant Surgeons under OMHS cadre on their entry into Government Service + DA as admissible.

While the enhancement will come with an immediate effect, the Finance Department has also given its go ahead for th same so that the long-standing demand of the House Surgeons would be resolved.
