Odisha Govt Announces 4% Hike In DA For Govt Employees & Pensioners

Bhubaneswar, June 13: Ahead of the Raja festival, the Odisha Government has announced a 4 per cent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for the State Government employees and pensioners.

The hike will benefit 7.5 lakh employees and pensioners and the decision will be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2023. The increased DA will be given from the June salary, said a communication from the State Government. The hike was approved by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

With this hike, the DA of government employees has increased to 42 per cent from 38 per cent.
