Little Bella Endures Excruciating Agony, One of the Most Severe Human Sufferings; More Here
She is only 10 years old but is struggling with a pain described as one of the worst medical conditions.
Bella Macey, a little girl from Australia, is suffering from excruciating pain in her right leg, confining her mostly to the bed or wheelchair instead of playing with friends at the playground.
The girl’s family have lost their sleep looking into her tender face, unsure if they can afford her treatment.
According to New York Post, the family had travelled to the US and were assured of cure, but the cost is prohibitive. The family has now launched a ‘GoFundMe’ initiative for crowdfunding.
The Post said she was holidaying in Fiji when a blister on her leg got infected. This triggered extreme pain, diagnosed as ‘complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), often called the "most painful condition’ known to humans.
"It's all sharp, it's burning, it's tingly. It's all sorts of different pain I never knew was possible,” she was quoted as saying.
"I can't have a shower, I can't have a bath, I can't put on any sheets or anything on ... even with a tissue, you can't touch it with anything, otherwise I will scream,” she said.
The condition is rare that can be caused by injuries or surgeries, but bearing out the condition is the toughest challenge the girl has to confront daily. Life is no more the same for this school-going playful Bella.
