Bhubaneswar To Host FIFA WC Qualifying Match Between India & Qatar

Bhubaneswar, Sept 2: The city is set to proudly host the FIFA World Cup qualifying match between India and Qatar on November 21 at the Kalinga Stadium.  

The United States, Mexico and Canada will host the forthcoming football World Cup in 2026.

 The announcement by the All India Football Federation about Bhubaneswar hosting the prestigious match has reinforced the city’s growing stature as a sports hub and its potential to host big-ticket events. The city successfully hosted the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup last year.

 The other FIFA World Cup qualifying match will be held in Guwahati.
