CM Orders Govt to Bear Medical Education Cost of Rayagada Youth, Who Has Cleared NEET Exam

Bhubaneswar, August 25: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered the Government to bear all the costs of medical education of Krushna Chandra Ataka, the Rayagada youth, who recently passed the NEET Examinations and qualified for MBBS education.

Secretary (5T) VK Pandian met Krushna Chandra and informed him about the decision of the Chief Minister. Henceforth, all the educational expenses will be borne by the State Government.

The 5T Secretary congratulated him for his success and appreciated his hard work. In his Instagram post Pandian wrote “All the very best Krushna. We are all proud of you and you are an inspiration to all of us. Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik has ordered the Government to bear the cost of his expenses in medical college.”

Krushna Chandra Ataka from Rayagada, a youth of 33 years, is married with two kids and facing acute poverty, cleared NEET examinations and got admission in Government Medical College. He dreamt of becoming a doctor and serving the society.

He completed his Plus Two way back in 2008 and started working in odd jobs and as daily wager but kept his dream alive. In 2021, he purchased NCERT books and started preparing for the NEET examinations and cleared it this year. He attributes his success to dedicated hard work and strong determination.
