Commemorative Stamp on Orissa High Court Unveiled

Cuttack, July 26: A commemorative postage stamp was unveiled on the occasion of the valedictory ceremony of the 75th year of the High Court of Orissa.

Odisha Governor unveiled the beautiful stamp by India Post and handed over the same to President Droupadi Murmu during the celebration of the Orissa High Court, today in the Millennium City.

Post Master General of Odisha Subhendu Swain presented the album of stamps on the historic building of the Orissa High Court as the citadel of Justice has become the 9th High Court in India to have a commemorative stamp in its honour. It has also become the seventh institution in Odisha to have a commemorative stamp in its name.

Philatelists are overwhelmed with the beautifully designed stamp of India Post as the temple of Justice has become carried out a monumental task in hearing of thousands of cases from the day of it's inception till date.
