Centre Extends Deadline Till Aug 5 Under PMFBY

Bhubaneswar, July 30: The cut-off date for enrolment of farmers under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) for Kharif 2023 is extended upto 5th August 2023 by the Government of India.

Loanee and non-loanee farmers can register thru Banks/PACS/LAMPCS, CSCs, Insurance Company agents, NCIP Portal. The State Government has directed all district level official to gear up to achieve their assigned target by the extended timeline.  

"As a team, let’s deliver the very best, and enroll maximum number of farmers to benefit them from the State Govt decision of bearing farmers share of premium upto two hector,"  said Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary Cooperation and Agriculture.

It can be noted here that the Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena had also urged all the collectors to achieve a target of over 25 lakh farmers under PMFBY.
