Beautiful Odissi at Horizon Series

Bubaneswar, July 28: Gurukelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre in collaboration with Indian Council for Cultural Relations (Eastern Zonal) Centre organised an Odissi Dance Recital as part of the Horizon Series eries programme today at Utkal Rangamancha.

On this occasion Sri Subodh Chandra Acharya, Chief Executive GKCMORC, Minakshi Mishra, Regional Director ICCR Eastern Zonal Centre and Guru Sikata Das HoD Dance, GKCMORC were the guests.

The programme saw four dance performances of Guru Gaurishankar Dash and his students of the Devanshi Dance Academy. He performed an opening Mangalacharan in a solo performance, followed by a trio programs and another solo performance based on Baidehisa Bilasa of Upendra Bhanja and concluded with a group dance Moksha. The programme was attended by diverse audience and even had foreigners in the audience.
