Cuttack Collector Bhabani Chayani Transferred: Becomes Director Higher Education in a Minor Reshuffle

Bhubaneswar, October 26: In a fresh notification by the General Administration Department today, Cuttack Collector Dr Bhabani Prasad Chayani was transferred as the Director Higher Education Department. Similarly, Director Higher Education Department Narahari Sethy has been transferred as District Magistrate and Collector Cuttack.

A seasoned bureaucrat, academic and St. Stephen's College New Delhi Alumni, Dr Chayani was the topper of his OAS batch and had successfully shouldered many responsibilities in the past like Secretary in Bhubaneswar Development Authority and also heading the CEMC under the city authority in the State Capital. He also has got a penchant for heritage, culture and conservation.
