Donald Trump Owned Media House Launches Global Streaming Service Truth+, Adds Newsmax to International Lineup
New York, July 7: Trump Media and Technology Group Corp, the company behind the social media platform Truth Social and majorly owned by US President Donald Trump, has announced the global launch of its streaming service Truth+, expanding access to its live channels and on-demand content to audiences around the world.
Truth+ is now available internationally through apps for iOS and Android devices, the web, and popular connected TV platforms including Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire, and Roku. The company says it will soon add support for LG and Samsung connected TVs as those apps receive approval.
A major part of this global push is the addition of the Newsmax channel, which will now be accessible on all international versions of the Truth+ apps and on the web. Newsmax’s inclusion is expected to boost the network’s international expansion efforts significantly.
“We’re gratified by the fast introduction of Truth+ to international markets and look forward to completing the rollout across all devices and operating systems,” said Devin Nunes, CEO and Chairman of Trump Media. “There is clearly a need globally for fresh perspectives on the great issues of our day, and we’re laying the groundwork to challenge the woke news monolith with hard-hitting, non-woke reporting and commentary.”
Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy praised the partnership, saying: “Devin Nunes has done a remarkable job growing Truth Social and now Truth+ in the U.S. It’s only natural they would grow globally and we’re proud to partner with him and Trump Media on this expansion.”
