*Tokyo, May 22*: India has kicked off an aggressive international diplomacy campaign following Operation Sindoor to expose Pakistan’s role in sponsoring terrorism, with a high-level all-party parliamentary delegation visiting Japan. The delegation, led by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, includes Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, among other prominent lawmakers.

During their visit to Tokyo, the delegation met Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, reaffirming India’s commitment to zero tolerance towards terrorism. Iwaya condemned terrorism in the strongest terms and expressed Japan’s solidarity with India following the recent Pahalgam attack in Kashmir. He reiterated that terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstance and supported global efforts to bring perpetrators to justice.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also held separate talks with Japan’s Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Takehiro Funakoshi, stressing India’s strategic focus in the Indo-Pacific and its firm stance on terrorism. Meanwhile, the Indian delegation engaged in discussions with Takashi Endo, Chairman of Japan’s House Committee on National Security.

This visit marks the launch of India’s global outreach under Operation Sindoor, aimed at diplomatically isolating Pakistan for harboring terror networks. The delegation comprises MPs across party lines including BJP’s Brij Lal, TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee, CPI(M)’s John Barittas, and Congress leader Salman Khurshid, showcasing a unified national front against terrorism.
